On Fridays I try to keep it light and have a little fun, but today it just seemed more appropriate to highlight the efforts of the first responders, The Salvation Army and the Red Cross, both serving the people of Japan at this crucial time. I love the tag line at the top of the page for The Salvation Army—”We combat natural disasters with acts of God.”
The Japanese people will be trying to put life back together long after the headlines have moved on to something else. Prayer and financial support is just a couple of ways we can help as they grieve those lost, care for those injured, and pick up the pieces of life that remains.
