Hearth & Soul Hop at Savoring Today

Welcome to the Hearth and Soul Hop for May 15, 2012—the food carnival for and about food that not only nourishes our bodies, but our souls!

Highlights from last week:

How To Grow Organic Celery From Celery Right Out Of Your Own Kitchen! by Whole Lifestyle Nutrition caught my eye because we eat a lot of organic celery and I have a garden ready to try this. Wish me luck!

Gardening: Growing Herbs by Real Food Freaks offers timely advice in this post with information for individual herbs, temperature sensitivities, and potting tips. I wish I had seen this a month ago when I put basil seeds in the ground, now I know better.

Grain-Free Blender Brownies by Small Footprint Family is a black bean brownie recipe I might actually try. There are lots of black bean brownie recipes out there, I like that this one doesn’t call for bananas (just couldn’t wrap my taste buds around that). We’ll give it a go and see if they are as tasty as everyone claims.

Did you find something inspiring from the links last week?

Thanks for featuring my post from last week! This week I posted about my experience with Kombucha Detoxing and a review and giveaway for a non-toxic cleaner. (Hope that’s ok, didn’t see anything listed that you couldn’t post those here.) :) Have a good week.
