Hearth & Soul Hop on Savoring Today & Anniversary Giveaways

Happy Anniversary Hearth & Soul Hop!

Welcome to the Hearth and Soul Hop for June 12, 2012—the food carnival for and about food that not only nourishes our bodies, but our souls! Hearth & Soul turns 2 this week and there is lots to celebrate with Alea and April both sponsoring giveaways.

♦  To enter April’s $50 (or 40 pounds) amazon.com gift card giveaway, visit The 21st Century Housewife and link to Hearth & Soul there, or send her an email at april [at] 21stcenturyhousewife [dot] com.

♦  To enter Alea’s $50 gift certificate to amazon.com, either link to Hearth & Soul at Premeditated Leftovers or leave a comment on her post.

Highlights from last week:

Saving Wilted Lettuce by Victoria at Green Idea Review is something I’ve used for saving celery, but not lettuce. This is gonna save me a buck or two on lettuce I forgot about in the crisper this summer.

Green Chile Tomatillo Salsa by MJ’s Kitchen looked so fresh I could almost smell the New Mexico roasted green chiles—one of my favorite summertime flavors!

Jalapeno Popper Stuffed Mushrooms by Elsa Cooks sounds mouth-watering good! I guess I need to plan to look for jalapenos and chiles at the farmers market this weekend, I see a theme developing here.

Thank you, Priya, for stopping by and taking the time to comment. I did take a look at your cherry pie and it looks fabulous–it was good to find your blog too. I hope to see you here again in the comments. :)
