Welcome to the Hearth and Soul Hop for July 10, 2012—the food carnival for and about food that not only nourishes our bodies, but our souls!
Only a couple of boxes remain unpacked from our quick exodus during the fire, the computer is fixed, and other than keeping an eye out for flash flood warnings (for the next few years), life is settling into a new normal. One day soon I may even write a post about something I’m cooking … but until then, Hearth & Soul is keeping me tethered by a common thread, sharing good stuff with good friends.
Highlights from last week:
Bacon Potato and Leek Frittata by Hun … What’s for Dinner? made me think of the days when we would have breakfast for dinner. I can’t think of a better reason than this to do it again.
Thai Inspired Ginger Coconut Seafood Curry by Inspired Housewife caught my eye because I’ve been on a curry kick ever since taking a curry class in March and it is still going strong!
Fresh Mango Salsa by Frugal Follies looks quite refreshing and it has been down right HOT lately, so I’m all for that.
