Last week’s highlights were all about peaches … and this week it is peaches again! Well, mostly. Really, I cannot help but highlight peaches right now because the rest of the year there will not be a juicy, luscious peach to be had. So as they say, make hay while the sun is shining, or in this case peach ice cream. Oh, and light the grill for some Beer Can Chicken—’cause it’s too blasted hot to cook inside!

    I’m still waiting for the perfectly ripe peach. I stand and sniff but don’t buy…there is no sweet aroma yet. You are lucky to have lovely sweet peaches.
