Welcome to the Hearth and Soul Hop for February 12, 2013—the food carnival for and about food that not only nourishes our bodies, but our souls!
Happy Valentine’s Week!
Oh, you didn’t know? You thought it was only a single day? Around our house, holidays and birthdays tend to take over for nearly a week or at least spill over into the closest weekend. Yes, that’s right, we savor around here, so we’ll exchange cards and kisses on Thursday then plan a special dinner for Saturday night. Of course, nothing says we can’t sprinkle some chocolate surprises in here and there along the way too.
Whether you celebrate romantic love or the love of good friends and family, celebrating love is always a good idea. Our highlights from last week are all about sweet treats for just such an occasion.
