There is just something wonderful about discovering good food and sharing it with friends. Whenever I have the good fortune of trying great, new products the first thing I want to do is invite you all to pull up a seat at the table. I would like nothing more than to sit face to face and chit chat about every nuance of flavor or recipe ideas. Alas, it is just not to be in the virtual world, so the next best thing is a generous company like Columbia County Bread & Granola helping me make my table a little bigger.
Congratulations Hannah, Sara, Jocelyn, Caroline, Stephanie, and Jan—I am pleased to share these fantastic sprouted grain products with you. Thank you all for participating and being part of the Savoring Today community!
The last few weeks, I have been using Arrowhead Mills Organic Sprouted Wheat Flour to make hamburger buns, pizza dough, garlic bread twists, and even oatmeal cookies and I have been delighted with the results. Always more of a cook than a baker, this type of thing can be quite a challenge for me, especially at altitude like we are. I think it is finally worthy of sharing outside our four walls, so I’m looking forward to posting these new recipes as we delve into the arena of sprouted grains even further.
