Hearth & Soul at Savoring Today

Welcome to the Hearth and Soul Hop for October 9, 2012—the food carnival for and about food that not only nourishes our bodies, but our souls!

Our highlights from last week are all about food in jars—things we can, put-up, or preserve to enjoy over time. Each of these posts caught my eye for their simplicity of ingredients and uncomplicated instruction. I always appreciate creative ways of extending the harvest and using the common items in my pantry in new and different ways.
