Hearth & Soul Hop at Savoring Today ~ August 13, 2013

Welcome to the Hearth and Soul Tuesday Blog Hop for August 13, 2013—the food carnival for and about food that not only nourishes our bodies, but our souls!

Special Announcement: This will be the last week for Hearth & Soul Hop to appear on Savoring Today.

For the past year I’ve had the privilege of co-hosting Hearth & Soul Hop here on Savoring Today. It has been a blessing to work with the other co-hosts and meet so many blogging friends through this Hop—I will miss it. If you follow Savoring Today, you already know about the new season of life we are transitioning into with our empty nest. This new season is inspiring me to focus even more on my passion for sharing recipes. After three years of proofing recipes, editing photos, and learning a gazillion things about blogging, I am committing more time to writing a cookbook.

Thank you to all my readers who have participated by sharing links and browsing each week — you’re the best!

You can still share your links or browse each week by following one of the other co-hosts:

Alea at Premeditated Leftovers
April at The 21st Century Housewife
Swathi at Zesty South Indian Kitchen

We would love to have you join us by browsing or adding a link of your own, just check out the guidelines here if you’re new to the hop

Please be sure to:
♦  Link a post that closely fits into the mission.
♦  Link to your article only and not directly to your blog front page.
Link back to one of the blog hosts within your original post by adding in the URL of this blog hop post which you can copy from your browser address bar. You could also choose to place a blog badge into your post.

Recipes should include healthy ingredients and can be old or new recipes or posts, please update old posts to include a link back to one of the co-hosts.  Articles on real food, slow food, foraging, herbal remedies, local food, sustainable food, organics, gardening or any healthy eating information written in a positive and loving light are also welcome.

You can find the Hearth and Soul Hosts sharing links to entries on the Hearth and Soul Hop Facebook PagePinterest Boards, and on Twitter at @HearthNSoulHop through out the week.

It’s Choco-Love week on my blog! First, I did detailed research into its history, health benefits and health concerns, to discern how it fits on a healing diet. Then, I shared my recipe for homemade chocolate with natural flavor infusions. I gotta say, that was the most fun recipe testing I’ve done in a while! Have a wonderful week, and thanks for hosting again!
