Welcome to the Hearth and Soul Hop for November 27, 2012—the food carnival for and about food that not only nourishes our bodies, but our souls!

I can hardly believe this is the last week in November with Christmas lights hung throughout the neighborhood and bell-ringers at grocery stores. Though I know many friends barely wait hours, it takes me more than a weekend to move on from Thanksgiving and step into Christmas. Folks are already crazy busy, calendars full before the month even begins. I hope you carve out some time to light a fire, bake something wonderful, and relax as you browse new recipes or check your list twice. Here’s a few highlights from last week that might help us savor the season just a little bit more.
